We are writing to say a big ‘thank you and well done’ to your company for your prompt and efficient service. Your phone and booking staff have been most helpful, and your installer. Rick, and the electricians, have all done a great job in difficult circumstances in the lead-up to Christmas, during the recent heat wave. We moved house earlier this year and are facing our first summer in this house; you have arranged and carried out a service of our old evaporative cooling system, and an inspection, quotation and replacement installation in relation to our old and defective reverse cycle system.
Particular thanks must go to Rick. Apparently his other job(s) yesterday took longer than expected, and it was also a very hot day to be doing this work. But rather than deferring or cancelling our job, he still turned up here, late in the afternoon, and worked into the night to complete the installation. It must have been after 7.30pm when he left us. He told us that the electricians would be here at 7.30am next morning, and they were; they have just finished and gone. They had been with him on the long and hot job(s) yesterday. We are so grateful to have the installation completed now, as my elderly Mum will be here for Christmas, and her health would not cope with a heatwave unless we have refrigerated cooling.
We chose Fairbairns because you had installed the evaporative cooling in our previous home, and we had no problems with any of that. We thought of shopping around, but decided to go with a company that seemed to have done a good job for us in the past. When we bought this ‘new’ house (almost 20 years old) we needed the services of a number of professional and trade people. We had some very mixed and disappointing experiences, with a number of them being either shoddy or dishonest in their service. It is so good to find a company and its people (we are referring to Fairbairns here) who are prepared to go the extra mile and not let people down! We will be happy to recommend you to others.
Thanks again, and all the best for Christmas and 2013
Joan & Neil
